Gastronomy is much more than food. It reflects different cultures, heritages, traditions and a sense of community. It is a way of fostering understanding between cultures, bringing people and traditions closer together. It is both an art and a science.
Our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department trains chefs who combine original flavours with high aesthetics within the framework of science. Science-based food preparation, including food science and food technology, also covers the effects of food hygiene, food safety and nutrition principles on human and public health.
We train famous chefs who will present the culinary riches offered to us by our culture, geography and natural beauties in the world's most exclusive restaurants and living spaces.
