Aegean Culinary Heritage Showcased During Turkish Cuisine Week
As the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, we brought the unique flavors of the Aegean to İzmir as part of the "Turkish Cuisine Week," celebrated this year with the theme "A Heritage on One Table!"
Mastic pudding and Urla artichokes with olive oil and broad beans prepared by our students were highly appreciated by the guests. Our stand, which remained open throughout the day, was visited by Izmir Governor Süleyman Elban, Izmir Chamber of Commerce Vice President of the Assembly Mehmet Tahir Özdemir, and Izmir Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Sadık Doğruer.
